The Beauty of Reiki
Last week, I experienced a Reiki attunement, a process where a Reiki master transfers attunement energies to their students. The transfer of energy is innately spiritual and creates an energy channel between master and student. The 8 hour course was offered as a free workshop at Boston Children’s Hospital, and as an employee, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in this special workshop. The group of women consisted of practitioners, nurses, and yogis. It was incredible seeing a group of eclectic and accomplished women gather together to enhance their practice. Thankful for Food
Now that all the turkey tryptophan has dissipated from my body, it is only natural to share with you what I am thankful for, publicly, post Thanksgiving holiday. The list of what I am thankful for is endless. I am firstly grateful and humbled for the opportunity to be with loved ones over the holiday amidst the beautiful yet daunting chaos patronizing this world. Dreams
Dreams are enchanting. Dreams are enchanting because the pure creativity of dreams are incomprehensible. I constantly wish that I could project the beauty and flawlessness of imagined landscapes, relationships, and conflicts. I also wish that I could relive the raw feelings, both dreadful and ecstatic, as these feelings are unhindered by the outside world. After waking up, I sometimes long for the interconnectedness present in my dreams that I sometimes lose during my day to day life. I miss that in my dreams, I can fly, I can travel through multiple realms, and that I can understand animals. This magical world where everything is one seems most attainable through dreaming. …

Little things…
Understandably, everyone has their off days. I know I occasionally do. It is undoubtedly frustrating to be stuck in a negative rut. Especially now that the Boston days are getting colder and shorter (it drives me crazy to leave work and see minimal sunlight-I honestly need to invest in a sun lamp), I incessantly ache for little things to make my days happier and to decrease these “off” days I have. I wanted this post to focus on some tips and tricks that have helped me re-balance on days that are tough.
