About me
I was born and bred in Hong Kong. I am the youngest of three girls, and a twin (I am technically 1 minute younger than my wonderful twin sister, Heather). I was fortunate to have lived a life in an urban jungle and be engulfed in a mesh of diverse cultures- both of which have shaped my perspective about this world.
I now live in Los Angeles, studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). With this medicine, I am able to holistically heal patients, giving me the satisfaction of fulfilling my life purpose. This medicine catapults me toward an endless spiral of joy that is creative, sensitive, and compassionate. I am able to embrace my values and fulfill my obsession with the integration of mind and body.
It actually took me many years to understand this medicine is the best medicine for me. I grew up in Hong Kong surrounded by western norms and then went to college in the United States studying neuroscience. It was only natural for me to continue with my western exposure to medicine and work in a hospital post college and then continue with medical school. It wasn’t until after college that I felt spiritually and mentally drained. I needed something to fuel my energy and spark and TCM was the answer.
I am in the midst of a wonderful 4 year program at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica and I am exhilarated to share my passion with you all. I hope you stick with me through my journey of medicine and start to love this medicine as much as I do.
Thank you, truly, for the time you have taken to read this blog.
Peace and love always,
Felice
